About The Position

This role requires a strong ability to stay focused and organized, leading a group of 6-12 staff in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high hospitality and service standards. The manager will assist with scheduling, payroll, cash management, inventory management, and ordering. A key responsibility is the safe and responsible service of alcohol, adhering to all liquor laws. The position involves providing training and support to employees to achieve guest satisfaction, communicating daily with the management team through logs and verbal updates, and managing employee success through one-on-ones and coaching. The role also includes overseeing building maintenance, risk management, maintaining professionalism and grooming, and participating in weekly manager meetings to suggest improvements for guest experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment in a leadership role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full-service restaurant management
  • Adequate knowledge of Beer, Wine & Spirits
  • Experience in managing/working with a large group of seasonal staff
  • High knowledge of computers and Toast systems (or other POS systems)
  • Must be 19 years old
  • Have a Serving it Right Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to employees to achieve guest satisfaction.

  • Oversee building maintenance and attention to risk management in and around the outlet.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and grooming.
  • Participate in weekly Manager meetings, providing suggestions for guest experience improvement.
  • Perform daily administrative duties related to payroll, event management, ordering, and requisitions.
  • Manage budgets and labor, food, and beverage costing.
  • Perform data entry for financial reporting or menu printing.
  • Provide on-the-floor support to employees to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts.
  • Supervise the outlet while on shift.
  • Ensure staff adherence to SWP&SJP training standards.
