About The Position

Ideally situated along the picturesque Napa River, near vibrant Oxbow Public Marketplace, the Culinary Institute of America, and lively downtown Napa, River Terrace Inn is the ultimate Wine Country destination. Our restaurant ALBA Bar & Cafe is open daily for breakfast, and small bites in the evening at the Bar. We also have (3) private rooms for banquets & catered events. Come work and be part of the Alba / RTI (River Terrace Inn) team. Our Napa River waterfront location includes 114 rooms, a fitness center and home to the ALBA Restaurant. The RTI is located within walking distance of restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America, Oxbow Public Market, the Napa Valley Wine Train and many other fun filled attractions. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a senior front-of-house team member who works closely with the Director of Outlets to ensure outstanding guest service, smooth daily operations, and high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency. You’ll lead by example, support and train servers, and help maintain the restaurant’s ambience, reputation, and profitability. You will report to the Director of Outlets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant, bar, or hotel F&B leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of FOH operations, POS/reservation systems, and scheduling software.
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Service certification required.
  • Strong guest service, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Flexible schedule; able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant, bar, banquet, and event operations.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee POS, cash handling, openings/closings, and compliance.
  • Coordinate banquet events, VIP experiences, and special functions.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members.
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and operational systems.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
