About The Position

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the service in the Food & Beverage Department. This role involves assisting the manager with training, motivating, and coaching staff, as well as monitoring expenses and controlling labor costs. The supervisor must adhere to the company’s service culture, "4 Keys to creating guests for life," and participate in all required meetings and trainings. Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag, is essential. The supervisor will spearhead service in the F&B department, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, train new associates, manage work area stocking and requisitions, and maintain cleanliness and quality control of menus and work areas. They are also responsible for promptly clearing outdoor tables, ensuring proper and timely guest service, monitoring food quality, communicating with the oncoming shift, handling guest complaints and special requests, and promoting upselling. Knowledge of state liquor and food service laws is required, with a focus on ensuring overall guest satisfaction and abiding by all resort policies and safety rules. Other duties may be requested by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalence required.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
  • Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must possess excellent communication, follow up, and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull bend, squat and lift on a regular basis.
  • Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and with use of required tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of state liquor and food service laws.
  • Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
