About The Position

Skyland Ranch is seeking a Food and Beverage Service Associate to serve guests at its Smokies attraction. The associate prepares and serves baked goods, food items, hot chocolate, coffee, and other beverages, while providing friendly customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment. The role also uses a point-of-sale system to take orders and process payments. The position offers opportunities to learn new skills and grow with the team.

Requirements

• Professional and friendly customer-service approach.
• Ability to answer questions and educate guests about menu items and products.
• Ability to follow prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for food and beverages.
• Ability to use proper equipment when necessary.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions through a point-of-sale system efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with health codes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Answer questions and educate guests about menu items and available products.
• Prepare and sell hot and cold beverages according to prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
• Prepare and sell food items according to prescribed recipes and preparation techniques, using proper equipment when necessary.
• Stock and present food and beverage items according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with local and federal health codes.
• Use the point-of-sale system to process cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Participate in upselling strategies as directed by management.
• Follow service standards and current training throughout service.
