Food and Beverage Associate
About The Position
Midtown is seeking a friendly, driven Food and Beverage Associate to support the restaurant experience at its Midtown Athletic Club location in Palatine, Illinois. The role involves taking and accurately collecting customer orders, serving and delivering meals and smoothies, recommending food and drink options, processing payments, and maintaining a safe and sanitary workspace. Associates build relationships with members and staff through conversation and social interaction, collaborate across the food and beverage team, and may support member events. The team is expected to be punctual, prepared, attentive to potential problems, and proactive in taking preventive measures. Other duties may be assigned to support department operations. The position is on site. Weekend availability and closing-shift availability from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. are required. The posting seeks full- and part-time availability and describes 30 or more hours per week. Compensation is $16–$17 based on experience. Full-time associates are offered health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), PTO/sick time, and maternity and paternity leave. Associates may also gain exposure to other areas of the business, including fitness, racquet sports, and spa.
