About The Position

As a Barista, you will create and serve hot and cold beverages tailored to customer preferences while greeting and serving guests in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel sustainability standards. The goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service to every guest.

Requirements

Provide Level5 High Touch service.
Be flexible with shifts and scheduling.
Be available to work weekends and/or holidays.
Have transportation to and from work.
Maintain stellar attendance and punctuality.
High school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
Proven customer service experience and a strong guest-focused mentality.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and team members.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete the morning setup of the barista station and ensure fresh foods and beverages are available throughout service hours.
Demonstrate excellent menu and product knowledge.
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and small-bite food orders to guests in the dining area, checking in as necessary.
Clean the Bistro area, including tables, chairs, and the buffet bar, and empty garbage as needed.
Remove plates and dishes promptly during breakfast service using appropriate techniques for handling plates, glasses, and silverware.
Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
Clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety protocols.
Maintain adequate supplies of clean glassware, dishes, and trays.
Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
Work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction, with awareness of guest satisfaction scores.
Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
Perform other related duties as required.
