Food and Beverage Attendant
About The Position
WonderWorks Panama City Beach is seeking Food & Beverage Attendants to create a positive dining experience for guests. Attendants welcome and engage with guests in the café, take orders at the register, and prepare and fulfill orders in a friendly and efficient manner in a high-volume environment. The role also involves maintaining clean and stocked dining areas and following food-storage and health-code practices. Regular attendance is required. Candidates are subject to background checks. The listed responsibilities describe the general nature of the work and are not exhaustive.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Observational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs.
- Basic mathematical skills, including making change as needed.
- Ability to stand or walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Candidates are subject to background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous themed entertainment and restaurant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Positively welcome, greet, and engage with guests in the café area.
- Take and prepare guest orders in a high-volume environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process guest orders.
- Stock food and beverages using FIFO methods and in accordance with health code.
- Keep tables and seating areas clean and the condiment area stocked.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
