About The Position

As a Flow Inventory Associate, you’ll help maintain CarMax’s vehicle inventory and customer experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The position involves vehicle receiving and shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and CarMax quality standards. The role also requires following CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and maintaining a clean, orderly work area.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, keeping display areas clean and organized.
• Prepare vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Complete the photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
