Requirements

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• 2 year or 4 year college degree preferred

• A Flooring Sales Consultant truly enjoys meeting new people and building relationships based on trust and rapport. Our customers view their consultant as an inquisitive solution seeker, passionate about creating an ideal solution for their home flooring needs.
• Each Flooring Sales Consultant receives unrivaled training, including: Product knowledge of our vast, quality-manufactured assortment of hard and soft flooring surfaces.
• The technology that drives HOM Furniture, streamlines our work and simplifies each customer's sales experience.
• Our unique customer focused sales solution approach.
• The art of meticulous accuracy processing sales quotes, measuring jobs and final orders.
• Comprehensive follow up on product deliveries and/or installations.
• Introduction to ordering customized flooring from boundless options.
• Mentoring to achieve financial growth as a consultant and/or career advancement opportunities in a leadership or corporate role.
• We focus on exceptional customer experiences inside every one of our large, beautiful stores. Each Flooring Sales Consultant asks the right questions, then listens attentively and delivers the perfect design solution every time. They love the end result nearly as much as their customers!
• Sales Consultants participate in maintaining price cards plus light duty vacuuming and dusting in their assigned areas.
