About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Floor Technician for the third shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan. The role cleans and maintains orderly facilities across a healthcare campus. Responsibilities may vary according to account needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., at an hourly rate of $17.04.

Requirements

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test required.
Ability to stand and work in a standing position for long periods.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including standing, walking, using hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the janitorial industry.
Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris.
Clean corners, edges, and baseboards in assigned areas.
Dust mop hard-floor areas, including behind doors and around movable objects.
Remove marks and scuffs from floors.
Damp mop floors using the appropriate assigned cleaning chemical or operate a scrubbing machine.
Use floor machines for assigned project work.
Burnish floors with a high-speed floor machine as directed.
Scrub and strip floors as needed or assigned.
May perform Area Cleaner job duties.
May perform Waste Disposal Technician job duties.
Perform related work as required.
