About The Position

The Floor Supervisor is part of store leadership at Tommy Bahama, helping create an enjoyable guest experience and support the team in achieving store goals. The role represents the brand, shares knowledge of its designs and seasonal trends, and helps provide world-class service. It also involves maintaining merchandising and visual standards, setting performance expectations, coaching and developing employees, and hiring and onboarding team members.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience, including exposure to retail merchandising and visual concepts.
• Experience supervising a team in a management capacity.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills adaptable to a variety of styles.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or move approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders occasionally.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and visual standards to create a relaxed destination for guests.
• Determine performance expectations, provide coaching, and design internal growth programs.
• Communicate brand direction and share product knowledge about current seasonal trends.
• Hire and develop employees and build a collaborative team to drive key results.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
