About The Position

The Floor Supervisor is a store leadership role at Tommy Bahama. The supervisor helps create a welcoming, relaxed shopping destination, supports the team in meeting business goals, and ensures guests receive world-class service. The role includes upholding merchandising and visual standards, setting performance expectations, coaching and developing team members, sharing product knowledge and seasonal trends, and hiring and onboarding employees to build a collaborative team. The position may also involve other duties needed to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience, including exposure to retail merchandising and visual concepts.
• Experience supervising a team in a management capacity.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A proactive, get-things-done mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills adaptable to a variety of styles.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling; occasional ladder climbing; and standing routinely for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

• Communicate brand direction and share product knowledge about current seasonal trends.
