About the position
This role is responsible for leading a team that embodies the Everlane ethos and delivers best-in-class store experience. As a Floor Leader, you will make timely and effective decisions, create a sense of urgency in your team, and motivate them to achieve results. You will also be responsible for setting goals, coaching and motivating team members, and sharing business results with the leadership team. Strong leadership experience, communication skills, and a passion for the Everlane brand and values are required for this role.
Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively and work closely with store leadership team to drive team engagement and business results
- Make timely and effective decisions that balance team goals and foster a customer-focused environment
- Create a sense of urgency in the team for achieving results and eliminate obstacles affecting performance
- Motivate team members to do their best and help the store achieve its objectives
- Use feedback and reflection to gain insight into personal strengths and weaknesses for greater contribution to the team
- Lead the team to ensure the service model comes to life in-store
- Zone, prioritize, and delegate tasks based on business needs
- Set goals for the team, coach and motivate to drive results on the sales floor, and provide in-the-moment feedback
- Perform hourly reads and update the team on current business goals and results
- Celebrate successes and share recognition within the team
- Share business results and anecdotal feedback with the leadership team
- Have 1-2 years of leadership experience
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work effectively with the rest of the store leadership team
- Have strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Have a proven track record of hiring, leading, and developing effective store teams
- Be a fan of Everlane, their product, and their values
- Must be able to bend, reach, and stretch for product
Requirements
- 1-2 years of leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work closely and effectively with the rest of the store leadership team
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proven track record of hiring, leading, and developing effective store teams
- Familiarity and alignment with Everlane's product and values
