About The Position

Eastmont is seeking a Floor Cleaner (Custodian) to maintain clean floors and public areas in its Lincoln, Nebraska community. This role is suited to someone who enjoys early mornings, takes pride in keeping the community looking great, and values serving residents. The position pays $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE), and works 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to operate shampooing machines and have knowledge of floor-care chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Must be able to work reliably five days per week, eight hours per day.
Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
Self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of floor-care experience is preferred.
Experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is highly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain carpet, LVT, tile, linoleum, wood, and other floors.
Keep equipment and supplies clean, neat, organized, and stocked.
Sweep, mop, shampoo, and operate floor-cleaning machines.
Respond quickly to spills.
Clean and sanitize public areas, including hallways, restrooms, and dining areas.
Provide excellent customer service to residents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
