About The Position

Eastmont is hiring a Floor Cleaner (Custodian) to maintain clean, well-kept floors and public areas in its Lincoln, Nebraska community. The role is suited to someone who enjoys early starts, takes pride in their work, and provides excellent customer service to residents. The hourly rate is $16.00 to $19.00, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to operate shampooing machines and knowledge of floor-care chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Ability to reliably work five days per week, eight hours per day.
Ability to pass an extensive background check.
Self-motivated, with a desire to maintain exceptionally clean floors.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of floor-care experience is preferred.
Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is highly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors, including carpet, LVT, tile, linoleum, and wood.
Keep equipment and supplies clean, neat, organized, and stocked.
Sweep, mop, shampoo, and operate floor-cleaning machines.
Respond quickly to spills.
Clean and sanitize public areas, including hallways, restrooms, and dining areas.
Provide excellent customer service to residents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
