About The Position

The Floor Associate provides customer service at the Elk City ACE Home Center in Elk City, Oklahoma. The role helps customers locate merchandise in a professional and courteous manner and supports store operations through merchandise cleaning, stocking, ordering, and pricing. Duties may also include cutting keys, mixing paint, cutting glass and plexiglass where applicable, and answering the telephone.

The associate also helps load merchandise for customers, check in freight, straighten and stock bins, warehouses, and the yard, and perform general store maintenance, including cleaning floors, taking out trash, and maintaining restrooms. The position requires willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with physical capability for lifting, merchandising, and loading.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good physical condition for lifting, merchandising, and loading customers.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus.
• Knowledge of merchandise.
