About The Position

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician to support its properties in the Miami area. The technician travels to one property per day to complete work orders, prepare apartments for move-in, perform preventive maintenance, and handle property upkeep and repairs. Duties cover individual apartments, common areas, amenity areas, buildings, and grounds. The role also includes responding to on-call emergencies and assisting with cleaning and moving or storing supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• At least 1–2 years of direct experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community.
• EPA I or II, Universal, or HVAC certification is required.
• Experience maintaining pools is required.
• Thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, utilities, elevators, fencing and gates, and fire systems.
• Ability to travel locally up to 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• CPO certification is a plus.
• Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas, and amenity areas.
• Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, including maintenance, painting, cleaning, HVAC maintenance or repairs, and carpet cleaning.
• Complete work orders and help monitor and maintain the grounds.
• Respond to on-call emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain and repair buildings and related systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing and gates, and fire systems.
• Assist with moving furniture and appliances and with loading, unloading, and storing supplies.
