About The Position

SRG Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to assist at its Northern California properties, with The Martin in Sunnyvale, California, serving as the home property. The role supervises and coordinates employees and outside contractors who maintain and repair building structures and grounds. The position requires Monday through Friday work and participation in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned. Weekends and overtime may be required as the job requires.

Requirements

• Related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Experience in all trades.
• Past supervisory experience.
• Excellent written, communication, and computer skills.
• Current driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

• Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct employees and outside contractors performing apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and grounds maintenance.
• Obtain bids from outside contractors, analyze and assemble bids, and submit them to superiors for action.
• Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
• Coordinate work performed by outside vendors and inspect completed work for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to determine service needs, scope, required equipment, and service type.
• Review production schedules and estimate worker hours needed to complete assignments.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend changes to working conditions and equipment use to improve crew efficiency.
• Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
• Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned.
