About The Position

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced, patient care-oriented Float Patient Service Representative to support locations in Dallas, North Richland Hills, and Richardson, Texas. The role is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Patient Services Representative is a first point of contact for patients at the imaging center and helps provide a smooth, welcoming experience from check-in through check-out. The position supports front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and assisting with authorizations and patient records.

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging provides diagnostic imaging services in an outpatient setting. Its stated approach combines imaging equipment, qualified radiologists, and customer service to support patients, referring physicians, and payors.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
• Experience with authorizations and insurance verification.
• Ability to handle heavy patient volume.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Assist with authorizations and verifications.
• Check patients in and out.
• Answer multiple phone lines.
• Provide accurate and complete information to the billing office.
• Verify insurance.
• Ensure accuracy of patient data entered into the system.
• Process requests and file patient records.
