About The Position

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking Flexo Press Operators to manufacture printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions. The role involves preparing and operating printing presses to meet customer specifications, maintaining product quality and press efficiency, and following company and plant safety, quality, and work procedures. The position is available across first, second, and third shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of printing press operator experience and/or training.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, use hands to finger, feel, and touch, reach with arms and hands, and talk and hear.
• Ability to walk frequently and occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines, and report safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Complete press make-ready according to job tickets and product specifications, using the correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
• Complete required product-specification, visual, functional, and press-side quality checks.
• Operate the press to meet customer specifications while maintaining quality, controlling waste, and supporting press efficiency.
• Maintain consistent production quality, including checks for copy, color, registration, ink adhesion, and other applicable quality requirements.
• Complete procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements required by the BRC standard.
• Complete press make-readies efficiently.
• Perform required equipment maintenance, clean plates, cylinders, and ink pans, and lubricate the press as needed.
• Enter material usage and time accurately and promptly into the GlobeTek system.
