About The Position

Versa-Tags is seeking a Flexo Press Operator to join its printing team on the evening shift. The operator works with a variety of Flexo Printing Presses and is responsible for the process from press setup through finished product. The role requires mechanical and technical skill, attention to print quality, and a focus on efficiency and waste reduction. Operators work with the team to produce quality products on time, maintain production standards, and keep their workstation and press clean and functioning.

Responsibilities

Work with the printing team to create a positive, professional environment and ship quality products on time.
Set up Flexo Presses efficiently and accurately to meet registration requirements.
Use knowledge and training to operate presses efficiently and produce quality products that meet approval requirements.
Troubleshoot issues involving dye rolls, cylinder positioning, tension, and ink preparation.
Maintain quality and production standards for work performed in the Flexo Printing Department.
Cross-train throughout the Flexo Printing Department and other areas to provide assistance as needed.
Use the time clock and ERP system to accurately log work and waste.
Follow safety requirements and wear Personal Protective Equipment when working with inks or chemicals.
Maintain a clean, high-functioning workstation and press.
Perform other duties as assigned.
