About The Position

This position involves general warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trucks, labeling merchandise with destinations using a scan gun, staging merchandise in the correct warehouse area, assembling/disassembling merchandise, maintaining a clean warehouse area, removing trash, sweeping, and inspecting merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections. The role also includes loading customer merchandise, preparing necessary paperwork, obtaining customer signatures on waivers, gathering and breaking down empty boxes, and auditing manifests for shortages. The position requires adherence to proper procedures when using knives, flat carts, and lifting merchandise, as well as checking daily closing assignments. Excellent customer relations are expected when interacting with internal and external customers. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Positive attitude when working with customers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of merchandise handling and safety procedures
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion
Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. constantly to move objects

Performing any other duties as directed by management
