About The Position

Flex Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives at client sites for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves conflict resolution and de-escalation, frequent interactions with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activity, following post orders, completing assigned rounds, providing customer service, using technology devices, and conducting property tours. Officers may also perform other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required at their assigned site. The primary location is Maryland Heights, Missouri. The wage is $18.00 per hour. Available shifts are 0700–1500, 1500–2300, and 2300–0700. Officers must be willing to work two of the three shifts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Valid driver's license required.
Driving record must meet company and/or insurance standards.
Reliable means of transportation required.
Must be willing to work two of the three available shifts.
Must participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
Must be alert, observant, responsible, and dependable.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
