About The Position

The Full-Time Flex Security Officer supports Securitas’s client by filling in at various sites in Framingham and Marlborough, Massachusetts. The role reports directly to the Field Operations Supervisor and provides full-time hours without an assigned home-base site. Officers may work at multiple client buildings and are typically guaranteed at least 30 hours per week, with frequent overtime opportunities. Starting pay is $22.66 per hour. The schedule varies across Monday through Sunday and may include first, second, or third shifts. Flexible availability is required, including the ability to work any open shift during the week. Officers may need to travel up to a one-hour commute to client sites; most sites are within a 30-mile radius of the Bedford, New Hampshire office. No security experience is necessary. Advancement opportunities are available, and prior customer service experience is preferred. Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Flexible availability to work any potential open shift during the week.
Willingness to travel up to a one-hour commute to various client sites.
Reliable means of communication and transportation.
Legal right to work in the United States.
Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent observational and de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with global and local security teams.
Commitment to ethical practices and following safety protocols while maintaining a safe and respectful approach.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
