About The Position

Flex Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, conflict resolution and de-escalation, conducting property tours, and using technology devices throughout the shift. Officers follow post orders, complete assigned rounds, identify and report safety concerns or suspicious activity, and provide customer service and information. They may also carry out other tasks of a similar nature and scope as required at the assigned site.

The position is based in Maryland Heights, Missouri, pays $18.00 per hour, and is available full-time or part-time. Shifts are 0700–1500, 1500–2300, and 2300–0700; officers must be able to work two of the three shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Driving record must meet company and/or insurance standards.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Must be able to work two of the three available shifts.
• Must be alert, observant, responsible, and dependable.
