Commercial Flex Officers
About The Position
Titan Security is hiring Commercial Flex Officers to provide security and customer service at client properties. Officers assist visitors and other people on site, maintain administrative logs, control access, monitor security cameras, conduct patrols, and respond to property incidents and emergencies. The role requires evening, overnight, and weekend availability, including rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and overlapping shifts. Officers must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting more than 50 pounds, walking stairs and conducting foot patrols, and working in inclement weather.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
- Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets or animals.
- Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is required.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be available for rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and overlapping shifts.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state-accredited training requirements.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to meet physical essential functions, which can include lifting more than 50 pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

- Bilingual ability is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including offering directions and general business information.
- Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs concerning people and property, including packages.
- Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
- Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft and maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to property incidents and emergencies, and record incident data for building and Titan Security management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
