About The Position

The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, conflict resolution and de-escalation, conducting property tours, and using technology devices throughout the shift. The officer identifies and reports safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity; follows post orders; and completes assigned rounds. Other tasks of a similar nature and scope may be required at the assigned site. The position is based in Garden City, Kansas, and pays $23.00 per hour. Candidates must participate in the company's pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
