About The Position

The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, conflict resolution, and use of technology devices throughout shifts. Candidates must participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and control access.
• Patrol a variety of locations and conduct property tours.
• Preserve order by enforcing client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Use technology devices throughout the shift.
• Carry out other specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
• Respond to emergencies using rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
