About The Position

The Flex Assistant Stylist, Salesperson Video Program (SPV), partners with on-set crews and Project Coordinators to prepare samples for video shoots. Samples may come from photo studios, fulfillment centers, or the salesfloor as Store Inventory Pulls. The role owns receiving and preparing products in coordination with weekly shoot schedules and product volume. Hours are flexible and as needed, with scheduling dependent on workload; flexibility during peak periods and travel between store locations may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate of Arts degree, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of on-figure, high-volume e-commerce assisting experience.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of high-end retail and the Nordstrom service environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards.
• Proficiency with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and ability to respond immediately to business changes and priorities.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Steaming skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for video shoots, including hanging, steaming, and removing tags and sensors; ensure products are ready before the assigned filming shift.
• Maintain accurate product labeling at receipt, during shoots, and when products are returned.
• Keep the preparation area clean and organized according to program and store guidelines.
• Immediately communicate product discrepancies and damage to Project Coordinators and the regional Producer.
• Procure items from the salesfloor as needed while following store guidelines for dress and customer interaction.
• Partner with store logistics teams as needed to ensure inventory is checked out during filming.
• Maintain an understanding of the video sample process and related tools.
• Communicate with program teams through Teams.
