About The Position

The FLEX Videographer, Salesperson Video Program (SPV), creates high-quality, professional videos with Salespeople and Stylists for Nordstrom.com. The role supports a beneficial online customer experience by connecting customers with Nordstrom employees, stores, and fashion expertise. This is a flexible, as-needed position that is not full-time; hours and scheduling depend on the volume of work.

Requirements

• Five years of Audio and Video Production experience.
• Three years of experience working in the fashion industry.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, including video equipment and props.
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
• Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with a focus in Audio and Video Production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Set up the video set daily, including camera, audio, lighting, and fixtures, according to program guidelines for framing.
• Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll.
• Partner with the on-set Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content.
• Coach talent on set to create engaging and valued content.
• Support training or onboarding of crew members when requested.
• Manage audio and audit content while filming.
• Back up all footage after each shift and upload footage for post-production.
• Assist with product preparation and shipping as needed.
• Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment, and promptly communicate needed repairs or replacements to the regional Producer.
