About The Position

The FLEX Videographer, Salesperson Video Program (SPV), creates high-quality, professional videos with Salespeople and Stylists for Nordstrom.com. The role provides a beneficial online customer experience by connecting customers with Nordstrom employees, stores, and fashion expertise. This is a flexible, as-needed position that is not full-time; hours and scheduling depend on work volume.

Requirements

• Five years of audio and video production experience.
• Three years of experience working in the fashion industry.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, including video equipment and props.
• Ability to think on one's feet and make quick decisions.
• Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's or associate degree with a focus in audio and video production.

Responsibilities

• Set up the video set each day, including camera, audio, lighting, and fixtures, in accordance with program framing guidelines.
• Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll.
• Partner with the on-set Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content.
• Coach talent on set to create engaging and valued content.
• Support training or onboarding of crew members when asked.
• Manage audio and audit content while filming.
• Back up all footage after each shift and upload it for post-production.
• Assist with product preparation and shipping as needed.
• Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment, and promptly communicate repair or replacement needs to the regional Producer.
