About The Position

The FLEX Assistant Stylist, Salesperson Video Program, partners with on-set crews and Project Coordinators to prepare product samples for video shoots. Samples come from photo studios, fulfillment centers, and salesfloor inventory pulls. The role is responsible for receiving and preparing product in coordination with weekly shoot schedules and product volume. This is a flexible, as-needed position that is not full-time; hours and scheduling depend on the volume of work. Flexibility during peak periods and travel between store locations may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate of Arts degree, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of on-figure, high-volume e-commerce assisting experience.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of high-end retail and the Nordstrom service environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards.
• Proficiency with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and ability to respond promptly to changing business needs and priorities.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Steaming skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for video shoots, including hanging and steaming products and removing tags and security censors.
• Ensure products are prepared by the assigned filming shift.
• Maintain accurate product labels upon receipt, during filming, and when products are returned.
• Keep the preparation area clean and organized according to program and store guidelines.
• Immediately communicate product discrepancies and damage to Project Coordinators and the regional Producer.
• Obtain products from the salesfloor as needed while following store guidelines for dress and customer interaction.
• Partner with store logistics teams as needed to ensure inventory is checked out during filming.
• Maintain an understanding of the video sample process and its associated tools.
• Communicate with program teams using Teams.
