Flex Assistant Stylist - SPV - Del Amo Fashion Center
About The Position
The FLEX Assistant Stylist, Salesperson Video Program, partners with on-set crews and Project Coordinators to prepare samples for video shoots. Samples may come from photo studios, fulfillment centers, or the salesfloor as Store Inventory Pulls. The role is responsible for receiving and preparing products in coordination with weekly shoot schedules and product volume. Flexibility in hours during peak periods may be required, and travel between store locations may be required. This is a flexible-schedule, as-needed position that is not full-time. Hours and scheduling depend on the volume of work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate of Arts degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of on-figure, high-volume e-commerce assisting experience.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of high-end retail and the Nordstrom service environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards.
- Proficiency with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to respond immediately to business changes and priorities.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Steaming skills required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for video shoots, including hanging, steaming, and removing tags and censors; ensure products are ready for the assigned filming shift.
- Maintain accurate product labeling upon receipt, during shoots, and when products are returned.
- Keep the preparation area clean and organized in accordance with program and store guidelines.
- Immediately communicate product discrepancies and damage to Project Coordinators and the regional Producer.
- Procure items from the salesfloor when necessary, following store guidelines for dress and customer interaction.
- Partner with store logistics teams as needed to ensure inventory is checked out while filming.
- Maintain an understanding of the video sample process and related tools.
- Communicate with program teams via Teams.
