About The Position

The Safety Compliance Coordinator will be required to sustain the company’s safety rating and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company standards. Previous experience in transportation safety coordination is recommended.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the trucking industry
• Understanding of the FMCSA rules and regulations
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as with others
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule

• Ideal candidate will possess a “can do" attitude with a “will do" work ethic
• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with AS400 operating systems is a plus
• Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance of driver qualification files, medical records and license information
• Maintain fleet compliance pertaining to company standards
• Handle driver complaints and safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with various authorities
• Work with terminal’s District Managers
• Maintain the company’s safety rating
• Perform various other tasks as they occur
• Other duties as assigned
