About The Position

The Fleet Manager is responsible for the local fleet of Bird e-scooters and e-bikes in Nashville, ensuring vehicles are charged, safe, maintained, and positioned to meet community transportation needs. This is an independent contractor, revenue-share opportunity—not an employee role—with earnings tied to results. The posting describes a fleet volume of approximately 125 vehicles daily and says earnings may increase based on speed and performance. Contractors may operate individually or deploy multiple vehicles and drivers, and are responsible for their own tools, equipment, and associated expenses. Contractors manage their own schedules and workloads to meet market operational needs.

Requirements

• Own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle, such as a van or truck, suitable for transporting multiple scooters or bikes.
• Have access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity; this is highly preferred for overnight charging and maximizing earnings.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license or applicable commercial license, with a clean driving record for all operating drivers.
• Be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods while handling heavy equipment.
• Have a flexible schedule and be willing to regularly operate on weekends.
• Be comfortable learning new mobile tools to locate and manage the fleet.
• Have strong knowledge of Nashville's local geography.

• Manage end-to-end operations for the assigned portfolio and ensure vehicles are available in high-demand areas.
• Solve problems in real time, prioritize tasks, and navigate local geography efficiently.
