About The Position

EōS Fitness is hiring a Fitness Counselor for a new gym opening. The role focuses on enrolling new members through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals. Fitness Counselors support prospective members in pursuing their fitness goals through an energetic sales approach and strong customer service.

This is an hourly position with additional compensation eligibility, including commission opportunities and tenure pay. The listed pay range is $15–$16 USD per hour. The role includes membership sales for clubs and individuals, including services, products, and programs, as well as managing membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline. Counselors also provide friendly, helpful customer service, assist with problem resolution, and serve as an information resource on products, programs, and events.

Requirements

• Communicate well with members and fellow team members, with a customer-service mentality.
• Be a team player and willing to take on tasks as needed.
• Possess strong mathematical, analytical, and sales skills.
• Work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Be comfortable with technology, shifting focus quickly, and using phone etiquette.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to bend and stoop for extended periods to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline.
• Provide friendly, clean, and helpful customer service and resolve problems.
• Offer members and prospective members comprehensive information about products, programs, and events.
• Work as a team player and assist with tasks as needed.
