About The Position

EōS Fitness is seeking a motivated, energetic, and people-oriented Fitness Counselor for a new gym opening. The role focuses on enrolling new members through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals. Fitness Counselors support prospective members in pursuing their fitness goals through an engaging sales approach and strong customer service. The position also manages membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline, provides information about products, programs, and events, and helps maintain a friendly, clean, and helpful club environment. The role may involve resolving customer issues and assisting with maintenance tasks. Compensation includes hourly pay of $10–$11 USD and eligibility for additional variable income, including commission, and Tenure Pay.

Requirements

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work.
Be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Be comfortable with technology, able to shift focus quickly, and demonstrate phone etiquette.
Successfully pass a background check.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
Be able to lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment.
Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Be able to bend and stop for extended periods to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Pursue enrollment of new members through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals.
Sell memberships, services, products, and programs to clubs and individuals.
Manage membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline.
Provide friendly, helpful customer service in a clean environment and assist with problem resolution.
Serve as an information hub by providing knowledge about products, programs, and events.
Perform maintenance tasks involving gym equipment as needed.
