About The Position

EōS Fitness is hiring a Fitness Counselor to pursue enrollment of new members through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals. The role supports potential members in fulfilling their fitness goals through an energetic sales approach and customer service. Fitness Counselors also manage membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline, and provide members with information about products, programs, and events. This is an hourly position eligible for additional compensation, including commission and tenure pay.

Requirements

• Communicate well with members and fellow team members, with a customer-service mentality.
• Be a team player and willing to take on different tasks.
• Have strong mathematical, analytical, and sales skills.
• Work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Be comfortable with technology, able to shift focus quickly, and have phone etiquette.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to bend and stoop for extended periods to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pursue membership enrollment through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals.
• Sell memberships, services, products, and programs to clubs and individuals.
• Manage membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline.
• Provide friendly customer service, maintain a clean and helpful environment, and resolve problems.
• Serve as an information hub by providing comprehensive knowledge of products, programs, and events.
