About The Position

EōS Fitness is hiring a Fitness Counselor for a new gym opening. The role is suited to a motivated, energetic person who enjoys working with people in the fitness industry. Fitness Counselors pursue enrollment of new members through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals, and support prospective members in pursuing their fitness goals through a lively sales approach and strong customer service. This is an hourly position with additional compensation eligibility, including variable income opportunities such as commission and Tenure Pay.

Requirements

• Communicate well with members and fellow team members, with a customer-service mentality.
• Be a team player and willing to take on tasks as needed.
• Possess strong mathematical, analytical, and sales skills.
• Work independently and multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Be comfortable with technology, able to shift focus quickly, and have phone etiquette.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to bend and stop for extended periods to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pursue membership sales for clubs and individuals, including services, products, and programs.
• Manage membership billing processes and the fitness sales pipeline.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service in a clean environment and resolve problems.
• Serve as an information hub by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products, programs, and events.
