About The Position

The Fishing/Marine Associate, identified in the posting as a part-time Sales Outfitter, performs sales and customer-service activities. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to perform the listed physical activities and meet the stated physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner, and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers and maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
