About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to maintain, inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems so they meet safety standards and operate effectively. This role is part of a company dedicated to protecting lives and property in a safety-critical industry. The technician will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, modifications, and upgrades. The role also involves documenting service activities, following safety regulations and company policies, coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members, and staying current on industry regulations, technologies, and best practices. Requirements

Proven experience as a fire sprinkler service technician or in a similar role.
Knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and standards, including NFPA and local regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications or licenses, such as NICET certification or state licensing.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local codes and standards.
Diagnose and promptly and efficiently repair system malfunctions or leaks.
Install, modify, and upgrade fire sprinkler systems as needed.
Accurately document service activities and maintain detailed service records.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during operations.
Coordinate service schedules and project requirements with clients, contractors, and team members.
Stay updated on industry regulations, new technologies, and best practices related to fire sprinkler systems.
