About The Position
ASR International Corporation is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to provide specialized fire protection engineering support for life safety systems, sprinklers, alarms, and related code compliance on military construction projects supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Northwestern Division. Work locations are determined by individual task orders. Candidates may be subject to customer approval and background checks, and may need to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience; ten years for senior-level positions.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection systems.
- Complete required training, including the USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course, safety training, and annual Ethics training.
- Be eligible for E-Verify.
- Pass background investigations and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and/or security clearance if required at the task-order level.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with federal construction is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review fire protection submittals and systems for compliance with NFPA and UFC standards.
- Support quality assurance of fire protection installations.
- Coordinate with safety and commissioning specialists.
