Financial System Analyst
About The Position
The Financial Systems Analyst I reports to the Manager of Financial Systems in Riverside Health System’s Information System Department. The analyst supports a variety of financial applications across multiple platforms. Duties may include managing projects, troubleshooting issues, analyzing and manipulating data, programming, maintaining application tables, developing and executing test plans, and documenting work. The position is remote-work eligible for candidates residing in Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, or Virginia.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to work well with team members and customers.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand customer business needs and processes, and determine whether a solution involves a process issue or a technical solution requiring automation.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, or another related field.
- One year of experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, Kronos, or Hyland OnBase.
- One year of technical experience with relational databases, SQL, SQLPlus, Access, Excel, Word, Unix, Java, scripting languages, Crystal reporting, Python, JSON, or Oracle database administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist with financial system audits and maintain controls and documentation for compliance.
- Ensure implemented software, including modifications, is tested and signed off by the customer, communicated to affected parties, and carried through to implementation while minimizing problems and delays.
- Gather and document functional and technical report requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Create and maintain Workday security roles, and evaluate and manage relationships between security roles, business process definitions, and data objects.
- Collaborate with end users to configure and implement new features and system changes.
- Maintain the Financial team’s ticketing system and ensure tickets are answered in a timely manner.
