As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams (Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, you will learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; assessing clients’ financial circumstances; and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center delivering core banking and investment solutions and supporting client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, and may later pursue other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. The role requires SAFE Act registration, including completion of the required background check and registration process, and continued good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The SIE must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and the Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days. The position is open across the market; the financial center location will be determined by business needs. Initial training takes place at one financial center, and the role may begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within reasonable commuting distance is determined, subject to applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, first shift, 40 hours per week.
