About The Position

The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated training to obtain securities industry licenses, followed by instruction in foundational advisory skills. Advisors learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, understand clients’ financial circumstances, and provide advice and solutions tailored to their goals. After reaching key milestones, advisors work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s banking and investment solutions and client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, developing relationships within a client portfolio and potentially advancing to other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout the development journey. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is based in the San Antonio area and is open across the market. The specific financial center will be determined by business needs. New hires train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, on first shift, for 40 hours per week.
