About The Position

At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; considering clients’ complex financial situations; and providing advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and client care. The role includes structured development, training, study time, and coaching from Academy managers. Successful licensed FSA I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue developing client relationships within a portfolio and may advance to other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required, on first shift for 40 hours per week.
