About The Position

At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor helps clients make progress toward their financial goals by providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions. The role includes triaging client leads, referring clients to business partners based on their needs and asset thresholds, and meeting with clients to discuss financial and investment goals and recommend appropriate products. Advisors build financial plans using brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, as well as banking and money-managed solutions. The role requires completing required licenses and training while applying and expanding relevant knowledge. It may involve residential mortgage loan origination and therefore requires SAFE Act registration, a required background check, and maintenance of good standing in the federal registry. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in disciplinary action, up to termination. The position is open across the market, with the specific Financial Center location determined by business needs. The employee will train at one Financial Center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a Financial Center within a reasonable commuting distance of home is identified, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Bank of America describes its workplace approach as an in-office culture, with flexibility based on role responsibilities and business needs.
