About The Position

First Community Credit Union (FCCU) is hiring a Financial Service Specialist (Teller) to provide members with extraordinary personal service and help meet their financial needs. FCCU is a member-owned credit union that emphasizes community involvement, integrity, passion, and growth, and offers technical and leadership development opportunities. In this role, you greet and assist members in person, by telephone, and by email; process routine financial transactions; open accounts; and use product knowledge to recommend and cross-sell financial products and services. The position calls for a positive, professional, detail-oriented team member who enjoys building relationships and providing solutions in a fast-paced member service environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with various shifts and rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
Positive, competitive team player willing to learn and adapt to change.
Written and verbal communication ability.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced member service environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous cash-handling experience.
