About The Position

First Community Credit Union (FCCU) is seeking a Financial Service Specialist (Teller) to help members meet their financial needs through personal service. The role greets and assists members in person, by telephone, and by email; processes routine teller transactions; opens accounts; and identifies and cross-sells financial products and services. The specialist develops member relationships, provides solutions tailored to members’ financial needs, and represents FCCU positively while contributing to member satisfaction and the credit union’s community-focused mission.

The position works Monday through Friday on various shifts, with rotating Saturdays. Candidates must complete an FCCU employment application.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced member service environment.
• Competitive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash-handling experience.

• Provide extraordinary, professional customer service to members.

• Develop and nurture relationships with members while helping address their financial needs.
• Efficiently process routine financial teller transactions for new and existing members.
• Open new accounts.
• Use product knowledge to cross-sell financial products and services that meet members’ current and future needs.
• Project a positive image of FCCU to current and prospective members.
