About The Position

The Financial Business Intelligence Senior Developer develops business intelligence reports in SSRS and provides technical design and support for the BI infrastructure. The role also queries, cleanses, troubleshoots, and migrates data. Working collaboratively, the developer uses data analytics in an investigative capacity to support Attorney Practices. This position is based at the Firm’s global operations center in Tampa, Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of related experience with SQL Server database development, including database design, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Transact-SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data marts.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team environment.
• Ability to use data analytics skills for investigative purposes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Microsoft 365.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Technology.
• Experience with multidimensional OLAP reporting, such as SSAS or similar.
• Microsoft certifications and/or completed coursework in Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and views to facilitate reporting.
• Design and develop dashboard reporting for Attorney Practice Groups.
• Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources.
• Perform ad hoc queries and assist in developing reports in response to internal and external requests using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems needed for projects and department functions.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize data quality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior-level BI Developers.
• Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings.
• Review data daily to identify errors and anomalies and resolve issues related to data inconsistencies and irregularities.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, analyze and solve problems logically, communicate effectively about assigned tasks, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to work activities during business hours, unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
